How the Athlos App displays your activities:
We believe that transparency is a necessity, and Athlos Live only uses the bare minimum information needed to support our product functionality. We take your privacy very seriously and appreciate your trust. We want to be completely transparent about how we use it.
Information we collect
Account Information
Some information is required to create an account with us so that you can keep track of your own personal fitness metrics and insights. We request for your name, email address, password, and a username. Passwords are safely encrypted. This is the only information needed to create an account. Once the account is created, you can optionally provide your height, weight, age, and gender.
Activities tracked by your earbuds
Your Athlos Live earbuds can track your fitness activities only when using the corresponding smart mode. For instance, your lap count, swimming strokes, calories burned, and lap times will only be tracked when the earbuds are on the swimming smart mode. When synced with the Athlos App, you'll be able to see all your tracked activities and fitness insights for all of the fitness activities that the Athlos Live earbuds support: running, vertical height tracking, lap swimming, interval training, swimming workouts, and swimming races. These activities, as well as the dates in which you performed them, are stored on our secured cloud database as a backup so that you can still view your activities on any mobile device through your Athlos Live account. We do not run any analytics or extra computation on your tracked fitness activities – they are only stored so that you can view them anytime on the app on any device.Data Retention Policy
Athlos Live retains all user information that is provided to use unless the user requests to have that data deleted. We do not want to prematurely delete any user's workout activities or account as this will create an extremely poor user experience. Please refer to the section below for more information on how you can have your data deleted from our databases.
Data Deletion and Revocation
As mentioned, Athlos Live uses the minimum data needed to perform the services our product promises. If you desire to have your data deleted, please reach out to athlos-team@athloslive.com and we will do so as soon as possible. Please note that all the data we use is required to provide product functionality, so you will not be able to view your fitness activities or receive fitness insights with the Athlos App if you do so.
Third Parties
We do not run any analytics or extra computation on your shared information – they are only stored so that you can view your fitness activities anytime on the app on any device. Both your fitness activities and account information are not shared with any third parties.
